UV Lamps
Hach UV lamps are integral components of their spectrophotometers, particularly in the DR6000 model which has a UV lamp that enables more analytical programs compared to models without UV capability. These UV lamps are used in water quality analysis applications for UV transmission (UVT) measurements to determine UV lamp output settings on continuous-flow UV reactors and for measuring UV absorbance at 254nm wavelength to monitor organic compounds and control disinfection by-products in water treatment processes.
