REED MAGNETIC STATIC GROUNDING DEVICE

Description

Static grounding devices provide a path to ground for any static charge. Because static can build up on plastic pipe, even for water services, there is a possibility of a spark discharge of sufficient energy to cause ignition if the proper air/gas mixture is present. Use of a static electricity grounding device is a precaution that can dissipate the charge and minimize the possibility of ignition. Reed strongly recommends use of the PEGRM static grounding device with magnet connection on ratchet shears in all gas applications.
