RICE Hydro Inc. is proud to announce the launch of a new product in their world-leading Hydrostatic Test Pump lineup. The patent pending PCH-11/550, manufactured in the USA, incorporates a pipeline chlorinator with the industry's finest hydrostatic test pump. This innovative tool will ensure that contractors meet the AWWA C651-14 standard for “PPM (parts per million) chlorination rates. And pressure test new or existing water lines in accordance with AWWA C600-17 standards. The PCH-11/550 will also de-chlorinate water lines to allow safe discharge on the ground per the AWWA C655-18 field de-chlorination standard. Triple diaphragm pump with internal oil bath. 30-Gallon Water Tank eqipped with float valve for level control, fitted with a locking cap. 20-Gallon Chlorine Tank equipped with float valve for level control, fitted with a locking cap. 8 Foot L, 1/2-inch diameter outlet hose with quick disconnects. 1 and 1-1/2 inch NHT inlet and outlets on the PCH manifold. Brass petcock on outlet to sample chlorination and de-chlorination PPM levels. Inline Stainless Steel mesh strainer. Stainless Steel liquid filled gauge, ensures accurate reading with less flutter. Pressure Regulator with Inlet bypass, adjustable from 70 to 550 PSI. Test pump can handle up to a 10-percent chlorine solution. Diaphragm pump able to run dry without damage. QR code for how-to video. Chlorinator constructed of 2-inch Schedule 80 PVC Piping with heavy duty brass gate valves. Heavy duty steel base and roll cage, powder coated finish. No flat tires, and fold-down handles with comfortable hand grips. Reference chart for proper ratio between GPM and PPM. Option available: SENSUS water meter and forkliftable base.
