Description

The Parafilm® M Sealing Film is a colorless, moisture-proof film that molds to the surface. It is a semi-transparent, flexible, thermoplastic film with two-way stretch. It is resistant up to 48 hours against many polar substances and prevents moisture and volume loss due to the material composition and tight seal. The sealing film stretches more than 200% of its original length, allowing it to cling to around irregular shapes and surfaces.

  • Film Dims: 4 in (10 cm/100 mm) W x 38 mL

  • Non-toxic and free from plasticizers, primarily composed of polyolefin and paraffin waxes

  • Offers good resistance against acids, alkalis and some organic solvents

  • Use not recommended with acetone, diethyl ether or tetrachloride

  • Will stretch 200% and adhere to irregular shapes and surfaces to provide a secure seal

  • Disposable
