Description

The Seametrics IP210P-04 -Series flow sensors are brass, adjustable depth insertion paddlewheels that fit 12 to 40 pipe. Adapters mate with standard 1-1/2 FNPT threaded fittings such as saddles and weldolets. High-quality jewel bearings and nickelbound tungsten carbide shafts are used for extreme low friction and long life. Ruby bearings and a non-drag Hall-effect sensor give these meters the widest flow range of any paddlewheel on the market. A sensor detects the passage of miniature magnets can be sent for hundreds of feet over unshielded cable without a transmitter and connected directly to many PLC’s and other controls without any additional electronics. A modular system of electronics can be installed directly on the flow sensor or mounted remotely. The IP110P-04 Sensor comes with the Micropower Pickup Option which allows it to be used with the FT450 (battery powered) rate/flow indicator.
