Lansdale Valve Flanged Swing Check Valve
Description
Lansdale Swing Check valves prevent the back-flow of water within a piping system. In order for a check valve to properly function there should be a differential pressure of at least 1/2 psi, this will prevent water hammer and chatter. These check valves may be installed horizontally and, if flow is in an upwards direction, vertically. Valves must be provided with adequate support. Adjoining pipework must be supported to avoid the imposition of pipeline strains on the valve body. Heavy valves may need independent support or anchorage.
