Hach CA610 Fluoride Analyzer with Reagents, 5740001
Description
The Hach® CA610 Fluoride Analyzer uses advanced ion-selective electrode (ISE) technology for continuous monitoring of fluoride concentration in drinking water effluent. The ISE system of the CA610 analyzer includes a reference pH electrode and a working electrode. The service life of the working electrode is approximately one year; replace the specially designed tip of the electrode every six months. Electrodes feature BNC connectors so that they can be independently checked with laboratory electrochemical meters.

Ensure accuracy with precise control of temperature, ionic strength and pH. The analyzer uses three reagents: Total Ionic Strength Adjustment Buffer (TISAB) solution and two fluoride standards. The ionic strength adjustment ensures that interferences that can bias measurements are virtually eliminated and lets the electrode respond to concentration instead of activity. The two standards are used when the instrument performs a two-point calibration at 0.5 and 5.0 mg/L fluoride at user-selected time intervals; set automatic calibration intervals from 1 day to 1 month. Store readings and calculations of the most recent calibration in the instrument. Reagent consumption is very low and maintenance is simple. One unit of each standard solution is sufficient for two months operation at a 24-hour calibration interval, and one unit of TISAB (Reagent 1) is sufficient for a 30-day operating period. Use the analog (0/4 to 20 mA) output to send results to a recorder.
